Doing nothing is easier than making constructive change. So credit must be given to Waverley Council for taking action on unsafe Notts Avenue in Bondi. The problems with this street were outlined in this earlier post.

This street sees over a million people travel along it each year: around 99% are walking and around 1% are in cars. Yet the people walking are at risk from the fast moving cars which get 90% of the space to travel or park.

Waverley Council has committed to upgrading the safety of this street and is taking feedback here until 5 April. Have your say via the short survey.
