Rambling on a Sunday

As it was hot last Sunday, family and friends chose another hike around water; this time it included both the sea and harbour. We took the ferry to Rose Bay for our afternoon ramble and chat.

The toddler and carer stayed at Rose Bay to play. Another group member separated midway to take the ferry from Watsons Bay for another social appointment. There are always options to make an outing work for different ages, abilities and commitments. Food stops, of which there’s always at least one en route, keep the teenies fuelled.

Sydney Harbour has lots of public transport intersecting with national parks and other nature reserves. Inventing excursions like this means that you will find hidden paths, discover amazing views and unusual historic treasures. Every neighbourhood has special features.

Walking, it’s our free and healthy means of travel. A trip like this refreshes like a holiday.
